Despite that she has always been able to make friends with people easily enough, and takes a certain pleasure in trying to befriend those who are particularly hard to get along with, or would be considered outcasts. It's part of the reason she started hanging around the Host Club. She hasn't officially joined because her grades are crap and she has a hard time focusing on more than one thing at a time. Instead she tends to sit off to the side, pretending to do her homework while she watches the happenings. That is enough to distract her usually.

Still, being around the Host Club has its perks. Even though she doesn't usually take part in actually hosting, just by her being there she has garnered the attentions of guys, and some of the girls who frequent the Club. And she'd be lying if she said she didn't love the attention. She has become a glutton for the attention she gets, and what little popularity she's gained for being the "Host Clubs Pet", and while it doesn't exactly help her snobbish reputation she often basks in the attention.
