Daiki Hou
18. Heterosexual. Host Club President. Barista. App.
ABOUT
Daiki was actually born in Seoul, South Korea to a Korean mother and Japanese father, his Korean name is Park Daeki. For his wife and child, his father tried to adapt to Korean society. But when Daiki's mother passed away when Daiki was only 7, his father decided to move them back to his hometown of Aomori. There, Daiki met Aimi, and with his dad becoming friends with her parents, they became close. So it meant that much more when after Daiki's father died while he was studying abroad in Korea, Aimi's parents gave him a roof over his head, warm food, and a loving presence.
Daiki doesn't intentionally keep his half-Korean status a secret, but very few people actually know he is half Korean, especially now that he's not as fluent in the language. He's not opposed to telling people, he likes to believe the prejudices of the past are just that, in the past. Despite his love for Korean dramas, Korean music, and the language, however, no one really tries to make the association with his nationality.

MATES
Daiki is pretty good at making friends. He's outgoing despite being relatively introverted. He also is fast to build a strong friendship with others, his carefree but calm personality making it easy for him to adapt to anyone. This is why some people go into the host club and see the members of the club are more like a family than class mates. He treats everyone with respect, whether it's a first year student or a teacher.
Of course, two very special friends are Aimi and Yuuta. Yuuta is practically his brother, and despite their age difference, they get along like they're the twins rather than Yuuta and Aimi. As for Aimi, well... Daiki definitely likes her.

FOES
Daiki is not about making enemies. Some people who have stereotypes about host clubs, let alone host club presidents no thanks to a certain anime, often expect him to be over-the-top, cheesy, and all together exhaustive. Some guys may envy him for being so popular with the girls at school, but he tries not to think much of it, so any enemies he has, he relatively unaware of them.
LOVERS
Daiki has a huge secret: He's never been kissed. He feels like people expect something from him because he's the host club president, but he's had one crush, his first and so far only one, since he moved to Japan. Aimi has been in his mind as a potential love interest for as long as he can remember, but he has no idea how to tell her.
